Corgi designs hydrogen powered radio controlled car
Corgi International today announced that its H2Go hydrogen-powered Radio Control Car was awarded the 2008 Toy Award in the âElectronics & Technologyâ category at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair.
A total of 24 products in eight categories were nominated for the innovation award. In each of the categories, one innovative product was selected as the winner of the 2008 Toy Award. Michael Cookson, chief executive officer of Corgi International, accepted the award in the presence of the Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Günther Beckstein.
"We are delighted our H2Go product has received such a prestigious award. The H2Go is not just a radio-controlled car featuring new technology, but also a symbol of the toy industry's impending adjustment to a future powered by clean energy," said Michael Cookson.
