22-Feb-2008 • Event

Sir Paul McCartney rocked The Brit Awards last night in the UK with an explosive performance of his 1973 James Bond theme "Live And Let Die"

Complete with pyrotechnics, McCartney received a standing ovation from the 8,000-strong audience after the iconic hit. Earlier in the night, he was honoured for his outstanding contribution to music.

"I just think British music is the best, thank you," McCartney said in his short speech.
