Welsh girl band SAL chase Devil May Care theme dream

Welsh punk rock girl band Sal have been selected as one of five finalists in the search for the first ever James Bond audio book soundtrack competition.

The winning soundtrack will be the theme tune of Penguin's first ever audio book soundtrack competition using website MySpace to vote - reports NewsWales.

The book is the new Bond novel written by Sebastian Faulks and due to be published on 28th May 2008, the centenary of Ian Fleming's birth.

Sal said today: "We really want the Welsh to get behind Sal ... voting is already taking place on the Devil May Care MySpace page! We want all Welsh people with a MySpace profile to VOTE for SAL!"
