Classic James Bond big screen season in NYC in April

15-Mar-2008 • Event

A season of classic James Bond films will be brought back to the big screen in New York City next month. The Ziegfield Theatre (part of the Clearview Cinemas chain) will show five different 007 movies in schedules spanning two weeks.

Week one (18th-24th April 2008) will feature "Goldfinger" and "The Spy Who Loved Me". Week two (25th April - 1st May 2008) will feature "From Russia With Love", "Dr No" and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

Times of screenings are yet to be announced. Tickets typically cost $8.

The theater features 1,169 seats, with 863 seats in the front section and 306 seats in the raised balcony section in the rear. The Ziegfeld is, arguably, the last single-screen movie palace still showing films in Manhattan.

Cleaview's Ziegfiel theatre can be found at 141 West 54th Street, New York, NY 10019. For further information call (212) 777-FILM or click here for the official website.
