Activision slam past James Bond videogames by EA `second rate`
Developer Treyarch insists that its upcoming title Quantum of Solace, will draw a line under the disappointing Bond games of the past, whilst also claiming that it will represent a return to form for the popular franchise - repotrs
MCVUK.
Quantum of Solace is set to be released alongside
the movie this November, and will be the first James Bond game to be released since Activision won the licence from Electronic Arts back in 2006.
âWeâre not trying to fix anything EA did wrong, because thatâs just what they did,â explained Quantum of Solaceâs executive producer Garrett Young.
âIâm sure the series pissed off a lot of gamers over the last few years as the games started to go downhill, but we have no control over that.â
âThe pressure we feel is more about launching this franchise in the right way. We know that you only have one chance to make a really great first impression, and this is it.â
âWe hope Quantum of Solace the movie will be very successful. Casino Royale was tremendously successful so I expect this film will do well, too. And Iâm confident that our game will do great on the back of that.â
