George Lazenby says he will seek custody of his kids

One-time James Bond actor George Lazenby says he will fight Pam Shriver's claim for custody over the couple's three young children, reports Mercury News.

Former tennis star Shriver has filed for divorce from Lazenby, citing "irreconcilable differences" for the end of their six-year marriage.

Through his spokesman Michael Sands on Sunday, the 68-year-old Lazenby says he loves his children "very much" and will be seeking sole legal and physical custody of them.

Shriver has said she will seek custody of the children, with supervised visits for Lazenby.

The 46-year-old Shriver won 22 Grand Slam doubles titles and has served as a tennis commentator since retiring.

Lazenby starred as James Bond in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."

The couple are due in court Aug. 25.
