`Hurricane Gold` shortlisted for Booksellers Association Prize 2008
Twenty adult's and children's books have been picked by indies for the Booksellers Association's Independent Booksellers Book Prize 2008.
Young Bond author Charlie Higson is represented in the shortlist with his fourth adventure "
Hurricane Gold", reports

Two shortlists, one for adults and one for children, were created according to votes cast by the independent members of the BA. Indies will be sent a point of sale pack next month containing posters and voting postcards. Customers can vote for their favourite books by returning the postcard to their local indie.
The deadline for entries is 24th October and the winner will be announced on 31st October.
Irène Némirovsky's Suite Française (Chatto) won the adult prize last year. The children's award went to Michael Morpurgo for his book Alone on a Wide Wide Sea (HarperCollins).
