Every time James Bond embarks on a new adventure, he's outfitted with an array of marvellous gadgets - reports
Canada.com.
Some of these are weapons Bond will need to escape life-threatening situations. A number of the devices are built into his car, which will be an Aston Martin in his new movie. Fans of the legendary secret agent can expect to see more dazzling new gadgets when the latest Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, opens in theatres Nov. 14.
However, there are some more down-to-earth items moviegoers might want, and even be able to use, such as the new version of the Omega Seamaster Diver 300m James Bond.
For the past decade, since Goldeneye, Her Majesty's Secret Service agent 007 has been wearing an Omega Seamaster watch.
The James Bond 007 collector's piece features a polished, lacquered black dial with gold-plated hour markers filled with white Super-LumiNova.
Only 200 watches out of the 10,007 Seamasters produced will be available in Canada.
The watch is a certified chronometer with functions essential to professional divers, such as a helium escape valve that allows helium atoms to escape during decompression, particularly useful for professional divers operating from diving bells.
As its name suggests, the watch is water-resistant up to 300 metres.
The Omega Seasmaster James Bond Limited Edition watch sells for $4,500 CAD at Gemoro Jewellers in Edmonton.
In October, the regular series Omega James Bond Seamaster collection will be available at prices ranging from $2,300 to $6,750 CAD.
