Daniel Craig weighs in on the US election, confirms 4 Bond films
November is a big month for Daniel Craig. Not just because the latest Bond flick, âQuantum of Solace,â hits theaters Nov. 14, but also because heâs watching U.S. politics very closely - reports
MSNBC.
Although Craig, who's British, can't vote in the U.S. presidential election, he has a strong opinion about it anyway.
âI strongly feel there needs to be a new way forward," Craig tells Playboy magazine in an interview on newsstands today. âBarack Obama is pushing things in the right direction. Iâm excited about the election. Unfortunately, things will probably get dirty. I hope Obama can stay above the fray ⦠Iâm hopeful for the first time in a long, long while. Itâs one of the most exciting elections in my lifetime.â
âSolaceâ is Craigâs second turn as Bond and heâs rumored to be committed to another two films. True? Craig confirms, but seems cagey.
âI did sign on for four,â he says in the interview, âso a piece of paper says there are two more to do. But letâs see how this one goes. In the film business, everything doesnât always go according to plan. Weâll wait and see. If it goes wrong, weâll have to rethink things.â
