Lifeboat plea stirs Daniel Craig to support £2 million appeal
James Bond star Daniel Craig is backing a lifeboat appeal â after tormenting RNLI volunteers when he was a boy, reports
The Sun.
Daniel and his pals used to climb on a lifeboat stationâs roof and muck about until RNLI men chased them off.
They also drove volunteers potty by continually asking for a boat ride.
Now Daniel, 40, is supporting a £2million appeal for a new lifeboat station near his childhood home in Hoylake, Merseyside.
Operations manager John Curry said: âDaniel and his mates were annoying, but itâs just what kids do.
âHe was always very interested in the boats.â
