Sir Roger Moore to attend book signing in Auckland, New Zealand

08-Nov-2008 • Event

Event: Sir Roger Moore book signing
Location: Borders Sylvia Park, Auckland, New Zealand
Date: Saturday 22nd November 2008
Time: 12:00noon - 1:00pm

Sir Roger Moore, impossibly handsome and suave, has been in the public eye for over half a century. Older audiences will recall him in his other, first, signature role, The Saint.

As James Bond, audiences fell in love with the hint of wry and wicked humour that Sir Roger developed into an artform. Roger Moore gave his 007 the sense that he was thoroughly enjoying himself and so should you.

Now in his eightieth year and a knight of the realm, Sir Roger Moore is ready to tell his story. In his autobiography My Word is My Bond he looks back on an amazing career and a charmed life with characteristic wit and candour. From his humble beginnings as the son of an English bobby, his stint in military intelligence during WWII - handy work experience for the future 007 - to life in Hollywood, playing some of the world's most famous roles.

Don't miss this very special event at Borders NZ, when Sir Roger Moore appears live in person to sign copies of his autobiography My Word is My Bond.
