Pierce Brosnan to host a free acting masterclass for 25 lucky wannabes in Galway, Ireland

Accordsing to Showbiz Ireland, Pierce Brosnan is going to give something back to his profession by teaching an acting masterclass to 25 lucky people at the Galway Film Fleadh.

Brosnan is currently preparing to film "The Laws of Attraction" in Ireland with Julianne Moore, and while there he also plans a little acting class.

He plans to give a day-long session to 25 wannabe actors including his top tips and the business of acting from an international point of view.

The class will involve:
Starting out as an actor
Dealing with casting directors
Securing an agent
Preparing for an audition
Working on-set
Relationship with the director
Relationship with the crew
Promoting the film

He will also explore the differences between the American studio film, American television and Independent filmmaking tradition in Ireland and how it affects the actor.

The masterclass will take place on the 13th of July at 10:30am. Deadline for applications is the 12am, June 27th.
