Jeffrey Wright will not face charges over bar brawl
Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright will not face charges over a fight in a bar in a Louisiana city this summer, a lawyer for the pair has said.
As
previously reported the stars, who were filming George Bush biopic W, were held along with five other people in Shreveport following the incident in July.
They were charged with interfering with police officers after a disturbance involving a crew member broke out.
Lawyer Blair Berk
told the BBC the authorities had agreed to drop the charges.
She declined to comment further.
Mr Brolin, whose films include American Gangster and No Country for Old Men, won plaudits for his portrayal of President Bush in Oliver Stone's film.
Mr Wright, best known for playing Felix Leiter in the last two James Bond films, starred alongside him as former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
Neither actor was required to appear during a court hearing on Tuesday.
