Danny Boyle speaks out on Bond 23 director rumour

First the British tabloid paper The Sun touted him for the director's job on the 23rd James Bond movie, then a spokesman was quick to deny the story that linked him with Barbara Broccoli and Callum McDougal.

Now the "Slumdog Millionaire" helmer has spoken out on the 007 rumour mill.

"I enjoy the Bond movies, always have and always will, but I have no plans to direct one," Boyle said to EW via e-mail.

"I don't know who came up with the story, but please tell them I'm very flattered to be thought of!"
