Timothy Dalton celebrates his 63rd Birthday today

The Welsh-born James Bond star had a extensive background in on-stage dramatics before landing the role in 1986's "The Living Daylights". Dalton would perform the role of 007, which he helped to keep true to the hard-edged character of the Fleming novels, once more in the 1989 outing "Licence to Kill".
Dalton was set to reprise his role in the 17th James Bond adventure - before a hiatus in the film's schedule and a change in production staff saw a reworked adventure starring Pierce Brosnan.
