"
Quantum of Solace", the latest James Bond movie to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray, has sailed to the top of the sales charts at online retailer Amazon in the UK and USA.

"Twilight" pipped Bond in the USA to #1 from its earlier Saturday launch, but as "Quantum of Solace" was released in three formats that all made the top 10, far more units of 007's latest adventure were sold. The Blu-Ray edition easily took the high-def chart title from "Bolt".
In the UK, both the DVD and Blu-Ray editions of Quantum beat "Twilight", especially impressive as hi-def sales in Britain usually lag behind major DVD releases. The UK success can perhaps be explained by Amazon slashing the price of Quantum on DVD from £24.99 to just £6.98. A single-disc edition was not released in the UK.
