`Quantum of Solace` becomes biggest home entertainment title of 2009 in Australia
High-octane box office blockbuster, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, has become Australiaâs biggest home entertainment release of 2009 - with sales of units 77,096* on Blu-ray and DVD - in its first week of release from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Important to note the percentage of sales on Blu-ray is at 17% which is an industry record and demonstrates the consumerâs interest in this exciting new format and their willingness to adopt it. Australian Blu-ray software sales are currently up 328% on a year to date rolling basis with a current projection to rise from $25.9M in 2008 to over $79M* forecasted for 2009.
A global phenomenon, QUANTUM OF SOLACE has broken countless box office records worldwide including the biggest Bond opening of all time in Australia, and scored among the top 20 film openings of all time in 67 international territories.
