`Bond Legacy` co-author John Cork talk and forum to be held at The Long Beach Library, California
John Cork, co-author of "James Bond: The Legacy", will speak on the original James Bond - Ian Fleming`s novels, and the transition of James Bond to the big screen character we know today.
The Long Beach Library will be participating in pre-SpyFest Long Beach activities by welcoming John Cork, co-author of the elegant and stylish "James Bond, The Legacy" published in 2002.
Cork, who is one of the featured speakers at the world premiere SpyFest to be held on the Queen Mary on August 9-10, has along with his co-author, Bruce Scivally, written, produced and directed thirty documentaries for MGM`s popular releases of the Bond films on DVD. In the process of creating these documentaries Cork and Scivally have conducted over 150 interviews.
Cork, the award-winning screenplay writer of The Long Walk Home with Sissy Spacek and Whoopi Goldberg, is a founding member of the Board of Directors of The Ian Fleming Foundation and has appeared on BBC television and radio, NPR`s Morning Edition and TBS`s Dinner & A Movie.
