Bond girl Gemma Arterton currently filming `Prince of Persia` (photos)

A beefed-up Jake Gyllenhaal sweeps Gemma Arterton off her feet as he drags her out of a pool and on to his horse - reports the Daily Mail.

The chivalrous scenes show a glimpse of the eagerly anticipated film Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time, currently in production.



The pictures show the Brokeback Mountain star and Bond Girl Arterton both drenched from head to foot and then escaping on horseback still soaking wet.

Stunning Arterton plays Princess Tamina who joins forces with Prince Dastan (Gyllenhaal) to protect an ancient dagger that holds the key to the reversal of time.

The movie, based on the celebrated computer game, is the first of three and is set for release in May 2010.

Set in medieval Persia, the film sees the Prince and Princess work together to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.



It seems brooding Gyllenhaal, partner of Reese Witherspoon, has been putting a lot of time in at the gym for his role, with the stills revealing his new muscular physique.

His co-star also looks dazzling, wearing her hair in Rapunzel-like plaits and slipping into cultural robes for the Middle Eastern flick.

It also stars Oscar-winning actor Ben Kingsley who puts on his best panto villain look to play evil Nizam.
The film is directed by Mike Newell, who also directed the fourth Harry Potter film, The Goblet Of Fire.
