Richard `Jaws` Kiel to appear in Bozeman, MT, tomorrow
Jaws is in town! No, not the fish, but the steel-toothed villain from the James Bond films "Moonraker" and "The Spy Who Loved Me."
Actor Richard Kiel, who played Jaws in the popular films, took some time to stop by the
KBZK studio in Bozeman, Montana (USA) on Friday to promote the Rotary Club's Golf in the Dark for East Gallatin Park fundraising event.
Kiel is part of this year's James Bond theme of the event, where participants will dress as their favorite Bond character and play a round of night golf at Riverside Country Club.
Kiel's television and movie career has spanned from the "Twilight Zone" to the movie "Happy Gilmore." He also has appeared with some of Hollywood's legends, including "The Longest Yard" with Burt Reynolds and "Pale Rider" with Clint Eastwood.
But the 7 foot, 2 inch tall Kiel is best remembered for his choppers in two James Bond movies.
"The teeth are in a museum in England. There was only one set made out of the same materials as dental bridge - cobalt steel," Kiel said.
If you're up for some night golf for a good cause, individuals are still welcome to sign up for the event.
If you would like to meet Jaws and get a picture with the biggest Bond villain, he will be appearing at the Gallatin Valley Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Night Golf tournament has raised over $60,000 so far for the East Gallatin Park in four years.
