From Russia With Love watched by almost 5 million people in the UK

"From Russia with Love" attracted 4.9 million viewers in the UK when it was shown on ITV1 on Monday 21st July 2003 at 8:00pm.

It accounted for 22% of the entire TV watching audience, with 4.1 million tuning in for the final half-hour after the break for the news.

Yet again a modern generation of spies kept Sean Connery out of the limelight, as BBC1`s MI5 drama "Spooks" had an audience of 6.6 million, or a share of 29% of the audience, between 9pm and 10pm.

ITV will try once again to beat BBC`s MI5 drama with the world`s most famous MI6 agent in "Thunderball" - on Monday 28th July 2003 at 8pm.
