Report from Charlie Higson`s `The Enemy` Book launch (video)
On September 2nd 2009 Charlie Higson launched his new zombie-thriller `The Enemy` at the haunting The London Tombs - near London Bridge.
The five time Young Bond author was surrounded by willing volunteers dressed in costume to add to the atmosphere.
Whilst Higson signed copies of his new children's novel, children (of all ages) were entertained by the frightsome features of the Tombs attractions. Fans lined the streets awaiting entrance to the tomb, many dressed as zombies themselves.
Charlie Higson says, "We all need to be scared. It's good for the soul. And kids need to be scared as much as adults."
The Enemy is set in London where a mystery illness attacks everyone over the age of 14. Those afflicted either die or become so crazed by disease they are little more than zombies ... who feed on children.
