Aston Martin 2004 prototype revealed

09-Aug-2002 • Bond News

AutoThing.com have revealed some spy shots of the latest Aston Martin prototype due for production in 2004.

The mule (lingo for prototypes in the automotive world) is slated as an entry-level Aston Martin with a starting price of around $90,000- which furthers the plan by Aston Martin to expand its` product line-up with some of the worlds most desirable roadsters.

Like Jaguar (both now owner by Ford), Aston plans to make the most of the available capital and develop the smallest production numbers of any Ford subsidiary, just 1500 for the 2004/5 "AM305," which is speculated to be officially named the DB5 and targeted squarely at the Porsche GT3.
