Bond at the Proms - John Barry suite to be broadcast live on BBC TV and radio

Bond will be appearing at the Proms this year, in a special 18 minute John Barry set.

Timothy West will present some of the greatest British film music ever written, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Rumon Gamba.

The big annual music event will be broadcast live on BBC 2 (television) and BBC Radio 3 from 7:00pm on Saturday 16th August 2003.

John Barry`s set will also include suites from "Lion in Winter" and "Dances with Wolves".
