Eva Green admits she hates auditions
Eva Green hates auditioning for movie roles - reports
ShowbizSpy.
The actress â who played Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale â says casting directors are âbrutalâ and often belittle the skills of actresses when they try out for parts.
âThereâs always something wrong,â Green, 29, told British newspaper The Independent. âTheyâre brutal, itâs a jungle. Itâs as if youâre a facade, like a model who canât act.
âWhen Iâm prepping and really working on it, Iâm freaking out â that Iâm not going to measure up, itâs not going to work. That Iâm going to look so bland, and I have no idea what the director wants. I freak out completely.â
Eva revealed earlier this year that she no longer Googles herself after she was directed to an online discussion about her nipples.
âIt was when The Dreamers [2003] came out and I Googled myself. My ego drove me to it. It was an insane thing to do. Then I saw that weird discussion and decided never to do it again,â she said.
âPeople can get very mean. They get angry even if itâs just a dress you wore that they didnât like.
âItâs actually quite masochistic to google yourself because you know that not everyone is going to like you. Or your nipples.â
