Dame Judi Dench gets more nervous with age

Veteran actress Dame Judi Dench struggles with nerves as she gets older - because she's worried her fans always expect a flawless performance.

The James Bond star rose to fame in the 1950s, but instead of feeling more confident as she adds to her movie resume, she frets about the audience's reaction.

She tells WENN, "I get more nervous... I get much more nervous now. I thought I was quite nervous when I started 52 years ago, but I'm much more nervous now, you know because people are expecting more I suppose. They've seen you for a long time and wait to see what you're going to do."

And the actress insists she is still picking up the tricks of her trade: "The day I think I've learnt it all, that's the day I'll give up."
