Sir Roger Moore wanted to make movie with pal Audrey Hepburn
Veteran actor Sir Roger Moore regrets missing the opportunity to share the silver screen with his friend/actress Audrey Hepburn. The former James Bond had been acquainted with the late Breakfast At Tiffany's star during a UNICEF charity work, reports
.
"Audrey and I were neighbours in Switzerland. So it was because of our friendship that she called me and invited me to become involved (with UNICEF)," the Daily Express quoted him as saying. He added: "I would love to have made a movie with her. Alas, not.
"She was a wonderful lady. Beautiful, elegant, refined, passionate and so very caring.
"She gave more of herself than you can ever imagine and touched our lives. It was awful to see her health decline and her body fail but I'm so very grateful that she changed the course of my life." Hepburn died of cancer at the age of 63 in 1993.
