No `Embers` for Connery as he pulls out of Forman`s project

Sean Connery has pulled out of Milos Forman`s next film project "Embers".

The 007 legend was due to start filming opposite Winona Ryder and Austrian actor Klaus Maria Brandauer in October and Forman is now looking for someone to step into Connery`s shoes.

The project is an adaptation of Hungarian author Sandor Marai`s novel and revolves around two best men who, after a forty-one year break in their friendship, are set to be reunited. Their relationship broke down when one of the men, a colonel in the army, married the woman.
