James McAvoy`s wife also linked to Ian Fleming biopic
Last month,
James McAvoy was linked to play James Bond creator Ian Fleming in a new film - but now with his wife is tipped to star as the author's missus.
The Atonement actor is lined up for the part, while partner Anne-Marie Duff could appear as the writer's bride, Anne Charteris, claims the
News of the World.
It will be the first time they have worked together since meeting on the set of Channel 4 drama Shameless in 2004.
Last night a source from Palmstar Entertainment - the US production company behind the film - said: "McAvoy is practically signed but we are also very interested in Anne-Marie.
"The two have great chemistry. Hopefully they can bring that to the film."
Anne-Marie, 39 - who lives in London with Glasgow-born James - shot to fame as Fiona Gallagher in Shameless before playing Elizabeth I in BBC series The Virgin Queen.
She wed the 30-year-old in a low-key ceremony in October 2006. The source added: "We want her to play Fleming's wife."
The film - set to start shooting this year - is based on the book Ian Fleming: The Man Behind James Bond.
