24-Aug-2003 • Actor News

Bond fans were on guard in Nottingham, UK when one of the most notorious Bond baddies of all time was to be found lurking in The Model Centre in the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre.

Jaw`s 7ft 2" larger-than-life look-a-like appeared at the huge Corgi Collector Centre opening day.

The event was packed full of attractions including a free prize draw, spectacular product demonstrations and displays of Corgi`s latest die-cast model ranges featuring its new Bond "Directors Cut" collection.

Amanda Fernandes, sales and marketing manager Corgi Classics, said: "The event was a great opportunity for those wanting to find out more about the collecting hobby. Our Collector Centres ensure the availability and accessibility of Corgi models to as many of our collectors as possible!"

Mike Anderson store manager of TMC, said: "Corgi`s presence in our shops adds to our first class reputation with collectors in the area. "We`re delighted our store has been chosen for Collector Centre status ? ensuring more of our customers get access to the models they desire."
