Daniel Craig is joined by Rachel Weisz on 'Dream House'

Oscar-winning British actress Rachel Weisz is to star in a thriller about a family that moves into a home with a gruesome history, entertainment industry reports said Tuesday.

Weisz, who won a supporting actress Academy Award for her performance in the 2005 drama "The Constant Gardener," will star alongside British "James Bond" Daniel Craig in the film titled "Dream House," Daily Variety reported.

Weisz and Craig play a married couple who relocate to a quaint New England town only to discover that their idyllic new home was the murder scene of a mother and her two children.

Australian actress Naomi Watts will play a neighbour of the couple in the film, which is to be directed by Oscar-nominated Irish film-maker Jim Sheridan.

Weisz, 39, was most recently seen in the Peter Jackson-directed drama "The Lovely Bones."
