Pierce Brosnan signs up to 'Salvation Boulevard', may film in Detroit
Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan will co-star with Ed Harris and Jim Gaffigan for the indie movie "Salvation Boulevard" for the newly launched Mandalay Vision, reports

George Ratliff ("Joshua") will direct from a screenplay he penned with Douglas Stone that is based on the book of the same name by Larry Beinhart ("Wag the Dog").
Comedic thriller is set in the world of mega-churches in which a former Deadhead-turned-born again-Christian finds himself on the run from fundamentalist members of his mega-church who will do anything to protect their larger-than-life pastor. Mandalay Pictures's Cathy Schulman and Mandalay Vision's Celine Rattray will produce via the newly minted banner.
Click On Detroit reports today that location shooting could take place in the city. An location manager scouted Detroit Monday for the movie. The movie is expected to begin shooting in May, and possibly on the campus of the University of Detroit - Mercy.
