Atomic Kitten join the Bond 21 theme song band wagon - planning to record `secret song`

According to Sky News, British all-girl band "Atomic Kitten" are trying to convince Bond producers that they should be singing the next title theme.

Sky`s "gossip guru" reports from a brief interview with group singer Jenny Frost: "We sang a collection of Bond themes on a recent TV special which led producers to consider us."

"I think it should go to a British band - after all James Bond is British."



Jenny added: "We`re making our exclusive secret song later this year.

"Hopefully we`ll be able to persuade the Bond producers that Atomic Kitten can really get Pierce Brosnan purring."

Atomic Kitten are the latest of a queue of artists joining the Bond 21 band wagon already. Earlier rumours included Mariah Carey, Pink (also rumoured by Sky) and Eminem.

MI6 Rumour Rating: Hopefully a Bond fan at the recording studio will leak a copy of their `exclusive secret song` so we can be saved from it in 2005.
