The Living Daylights on UK TV

14-Aug-2002 • Media Alert

The Living Daylights extended ITV`s "OO Heaven" season this Wednesday night. The channel decided to continue the series which was originally planned to only feature the seven Roger Moore films.

High viewing figures proved Bond an irresitable weapon in the ratings war with BBC1.

6.1 million views tuned in to watch Timothy Dalton`s first outing as Bond. Although the audience was slightly lower than the Moore films (the average audience was 6.6 million), it still beat off competition from the BBC.

The "00 Heaven" series on ITV concludes next Wednesday with Licence To Kill.
