Timothy Dalton and Steven Berkoff have joined the cast of Sony’s romantic spy thriller "The Tourist," starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp -- reports M&C.

According to Variety, the cast also includes Paul Bettany and Rufus Sewell.

Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck is directing from a script by Julian Fellowes & Christopher McQuarrie and Jeffrey Nachmanoff. Graham King is producing through his GK Films production company.

The film is currently shooting on location in Venice and centers on a broken hearted American tourist visiting Italy who pursues a romance with a mysterious woman who crosses his path. They are then caught in a web of intrigue and danger.

Dalton's credits include "The Lion In Winter," "Wuthering Heights" and a brief stint as James Bond in "The Living Daylights" and "Licence to Kill." Berkoff is a veteran British actor who's best known for his portrayals of villains in the James Bond film "Octopussy," "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Rambo: First Blood Part II."
