Bond author John Gardner's first novel The Liquidator to be republished
According to the recently relaunched
official site for the James Bond continuation author, John Gardner's debut novel 'The Liquidator' is coming back into print in the UK, published by Ostara Publishing.
Fans should look towards October as a provisional release date.
The Liquidator (1964) was the first novel written by John Gardner and the first novel in his Boysie Oakes series.
Inspired by the James Bond series of Ian Fleming novels and films, Gardner wrote his book with the character of Brian "Boysie" Oakes as an anti-Bond. Ironically, Gardner would go on to pen 14 continuation novels for the James Bond series. He passed away in 2007.
