Further gameplay details revealed of Activison's 2010 'GoldenEye 007'

14-Jun-2010 • Gaming

Further news has broken about what's in store for 007 gamers this Christmas. Just hours ago the trailer for a 2010 remake of the Nintendo 64 "GoldenEye 007" was leaked on to YouTube.

Now MI6 can bring you more definitive details of the forthcoming game. The first person shooter, inspired by the much-loved and successful "GoldenEye 007" (1997), will feature the likeness of current James Bond star, Daniel Craig. Whilst the title does not have a definitive sale date (the Trailer begins "This November..."), Activison has pencilled it in for the holiday season, and should have an RRP of US$49.99.

The upcoming version of "GoldenEye 007", like its predecessor, will have a comprehensive multiplayer system, with options similar to those that were hailed in 1997.

Additional features will include a multitude of controller support, including Wii Remote and Nunchuk, "GoldenEye 007" also supports the Classic Controller Pro for gamers who want to play with standard FPS controls and the Wii Zapper for "point and shoot" gamers.

At this stage it will be sold exclusively for the Wii, and although rumours have been circulating the internet about a possible Nintendo DS release, no official materials - leaked or otherwise - have supported this.
