29-Sep-2003 • Event

The Express & Star have reported that Eon Productions are backing a special charity auction with bags of Bond goodies.

The Bond producers have sent exclusive items to be auctioned off during a James Bond-themed fundraising evening to support the Sunfield School, in Clent.

All proceeds raised from the event, held at Hagley Golf and Country Club on October 4, will go towards the school`s appeal to build a new residential house for 12 autistic children.

Bond fans will be able to bid for limited edition set of 007 40th anniversary posters, a cast and crew fleece from the last film, Die Another Day and a Bond on Set photo journal.

There will also be a large production poster from the film and set of stills from various Bond movies.

The light-hearted evening will also include a written quiz for guests and live music from the Europa Trio.

Hilary Jauncey, fundraising manager for the Woodman Lane school, said the event would be a lot of fun.

"It will certainly appeal to fans of the James Bond movies who will be able to get their hands on some exclusive merchandise."

Application forms for tickets, priced £18 per person are available from Sunfield Appeals Office, Woodman Lane, Clent, Stourbridge, DY9 9PB or by calling on 01562 882253.
