Daniel Craig supports Clatterbridge cancer centre
James Bond actor Daniel Craig praised the âexceptionalâ care his loved ones received when they were treated at the Clatterbridge cancer centre in Merseyside, UK.
The Wirral-born actor encouraged people to help raise much-needed funds to directly benefit patients of the hospital.
He said: âPeople close to me have been affected by cancer and cared for and treated by the amazing staff at Clatterbridge, so I can speak first-hand of the exceptional level of service they provide.
âThe hospital charity âClatterbridge your cancer centreâ helps to provide essential up-to-date treatment, support vital research, and treat patients in Merseyside and Cheshire with world-class equipment.â
Daniel was speaking ahead of the centreâs Christmas campaign, which includes a grotto at Gordale garden centre from November 27, and a carol service at Liverpoolâs Anglican cathedral. Full details at www.yourclatterbridge.co.uk
