Sir Roger Moore performs 'Let It Be' for Norwegian TV viral video
A Norwegian television advert improbably featuring the likes of Roger Moore, John Nettles and Paul McKenna lip synching to a 1980s cover of Let It Be has become a viral internet hit, reports the
Independent.
Beginning with the former James Bond actor Moore delivering the opening lines in William Shatner-style spoken form, the video sees a bizarre mixture of British, American and Norwegian celebrities singing along to the 1987 Ferry Aid version of the famous Beatles song.
The dozens of curiously chosen film and TV stars include Hollywood representatives Glenn Close and Dolph Lundgren, Gorden Kaye of 'Allo 'Allo fame, and George Wendt, who played Norm in Cheers. The advert, a YouTube hit, promotes the Norwegian TV series Gylne Tider, or Golden Times.
