IFP announce `Ian Fleming Dagger Award 2003 ` nominations for thriller authors

Ian Fleming Publications have announced that the shortlist for the second CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger was decided last week at the judging lunch held, appropriately, in the library at Soho House in London.

Deliberations were lengthy and lively - this year`s submissions were of an extremely high standard and came from a diverse range of authorial voices representing all aspects of the thriller genre. After heated debate, the judges arrived at the following shortlist:

Lee Child - Persuader
Roger Jon Ellroy - Candlemoth
Dan Fesperman - The Small Boat of Great Sorrows
Lucretia Grindle - The Nightspinners
Robert Littell - The Company
Henry Porter - Empire State
Gerald Seymour - Traitor`s Kiss

The winner will be announced at the CWA Dagger Awards Lunch on November 13th.
