Dame Judi Dench receives outstanding achievement accolade at the South Bank awards
Dame Judi Dench received an outstanding achievement accolade last night as she was among the winners at the South Bank awards, reports

The James Bond star was presented her award by Sir Peter Hall on a night when other winners included singer Plan-B, Channel 4 drama This is England â86 and British horror film Monsters.
The awards, which were hosted by Lord Mervyn Bragg, included presenters Sir Richard Hall and Gilbert and George, the artists.
Other winners included BBC Sitcom Rev, which won the best comedy award, the Welsh National Opera, BBC Philharmonic and the Halle orchestras and dance piece Gnosis.
The show has moved to Sky Arts this year after thirty years on ITV, and saw David Suchet named best actor in Athur Millerâs All My Sons.
It was only veterans like Judi Dench who picked up awards. Teenage writer Anya Reiss was named most promising playwright for writing Spur of the Moment which was staged by the Royal Court.
