Bond girl Jane Seymour celebrates her 60th birthday today

Bond girl Jane Seymour, who made her big screen debut in Roger Moore's first outing as 007 in the 1973 film "Live And Let Die", celebrates her 60th birthday today.



Although Jane Seymour was by then a household name, the young actress returned to the UK for a period and won roles in various theatre productions before pursuing any further big-budget Hollywood adventures. Notable credits to her name include a regular in 1971's romantic-drama "The Onedin Line" or her return to the US and the role of Serina in the original "Battlestar Galatica" (1978).

Born Joyce Penelope Frankenberg in Middlesex, England, her famous television role of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was fitting, since she is the daughter of a nurse and an obstetrician.
