Exclusive 'Age Of Heroes' charity premire screenings around the UK today

15-May-2011 • Event

Be the first to see World War II action film "Age of Heroes", starring Sean Bean, and help ex-Armed Forces members have a better life.

Cineworld Cinemas and Metrodome Distribution have joined forces to offer UK cinema-goers a unique opportunity to be the first to see World War II actioner AGE OF HEROES while at the same time raising vital funds to improve the lives of ex-Armed Forces members. These special charity screenings, priced at £5, are available to everyone, and will take place nationwide at Cineworld cinemas on 15th May, reports FlickFeast.

Every penny raised from these exclusive first-look screenings will be donated to the ForceSelect Foundation – a specialist fundraiser that supports small-scale Armed Forces charities that aid former UK Service members.

AGE OF HEROES is a spectacular British WWII thriller inspired by the real-life events of James Bond creator Ian Fleming’s 30 Commando Unit – an inspiration for the modern day SAS. In the film, Sean Bean and Danny Dyer, reunited for the first time since Nick Love’s ‘The Outlaw’, play members of 30 Commando, one of most important elite units in the history of the British Armed Forces, as they venture into occupied Norway to capture vital Nazi technology that could turn the tide of the war.

The special charity screenings will be held on 15th May 2011 at 3pm. All you have to do is come along on the day to one of these Cineworld sites:

Birmingham
Edinburgh
Milton Keynes
Yeovil
Crawley
Sheffield
Aberdeen Union
Wandsworth
Middlesbrough
Cheltenham

AGE OF HEROES will be officially released at cinemas on 20th May and on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on 13th June.

Thanks to `Marek` for the alert.
