'Carte Blanche' riding high at #1 in Amazon UK charts

'Carte Blanche', the new James Bond continuation novel by thriller writer Jeffery Deaver, is riding high on the UK best-seller book charts.

The new 007 novel is currently #1 on the Amazon UK best-sellers chart, across all formats and genres. The unabridged 'Carte Blanche' audio book on CD is ranked #14 on Amazon.

Over at WH Smiths, the title is sitting at #2 behind 'Madeleine', the cash-in book from the missing girl's mother. Sales at 'Smiths may be below industry average as rival bookstore chain Waterstones has an exclusive signed edition. Most retailers will be updating their charts later next week.
