The BBC report phoney Bond 21 title - `Die After Tomorrow`

05-Nov-2003 • Casino Royale

In a piece discussing the merits of releasing new Hollywood blockbusters in India at the same time as Western countries to help stamp out piracy, the BBC today goofed and printed a phoney title for as-yet-unamed Bond 21.

Due out in November 2005, the BBC claimed the next Bond installment will be called "Die After Tomorrow".

The respected broadcaster published on their news website: "Studio 20th Century Fox is planning to release the next James Bond film Die After Tomorrow in India along with the rest of the world. "

"Films that are going to get largely affected by piracy, like the Bond and Matrix ones, have cult followings in India," managing director of 20th Century Fox in India Aditya Shastri told BBC News Online.

Amazingly they avoided using a picture of rumoured Bond 21 girl Aishwarya Rai in the article.
