Art director Paul Inglis to return on Bond 23

03-Aug-2011 • Skyfall

Paul Inglis will be returning for 007 duty on the Bond 23 film as Art Director, reprising his role from "Quantum of Solace" in 2008. Amongst his work on the 22nd Bond film, Inglis conceptualized and designed the Perla De Las Dunas facility seen during the film's climax.

His current project is Ridley Scott's "Prometheus", which is shooting on the 007 Stage at Pinewood.

Inglis spoke about his Bond work in a recent interview with the Flickering Myth blog: “Every film has challenges that you arrive at through the things you do. For me, doing Quantum of Solace was an accomplishment as well because it’s a huge machine. There are a lot of very experienced people doing their jobs in the other departments to keep happy. If you can do that it’s an achievement in itself.”

Since graduating from London’s Royal College of Art in 1997 with an MA in Design for Film & Television, Inglis has worked on over twenty feature films, from small independent pictures through to large budget studio blockbusters.
