Scottish castle scouted for Bond 23 location according to press
According to reports in various Scottish newspapers over the weekend, a scene for the 23rd James Bond film (AKA 'Bond 23') may be filmed in the country.
Location scouts are reportedly looking for a 'dilapidated castle' or 'mansion house' for Daniel Craig's third outing as 007.
There are no details about how the location fits in with the story, but as ever the tabloids are running away with their imagination with one going as far as to suggest the Scottish castle will connect James Bond to his heritage. His father was described by author Ian Fleming as hailing from Glencoe.
The last Bond outing to shoot in Scotland was "The World Is Not Enough" (1999), when the iconic Eilean Donan castle was used as an emergency MI6 headquarters.
Thanks to `Billy` for the alert.
