London Transport authorities claim new Routemaster bus is wanted for 'Skyfall'

This is London are carrying a quote from Daniel Moylan, deputy chairman of Transport for London, who suggests that the authorities have been approached by the James Bond 23 production team about the new Routemaster bus:
"The James Bond people want it for their movie. We have received approaches. When people see the bus they love it."
The last time a Routemaster featured substantially in a Bond adventure was "Live And Let Die" when Sir Roger Moore drove a double-decker bus under a low bridge, neatly beheading the bus in the process.
If the new model is seconded for 'Skyfall', the production team may have their hands on the vehicle early - before they are set to work on London's roads. The eight prototypes of the new bus are not due to start operating until next year.
