Exclusive: James Bond may feature in GREAT Britain publicity campaign
Britain will launch a massive publicity campaign to attract tourism and international trade to its shores this summer, anchoring its activities on the 2012 London Olympics.
MI6 understands that negotiations are underway for James Bond to play a part in the campaign, although details are sketchy at the moment. As the world's longest running and most successful film franchise in history (inflation adjusted) is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2012, it would seem a slam dunk to have 007 promoting UK interests.
The last time Bond got involved with a national campaign was in 2004, when Sir Roger Moore and Samantha Bond
appeared in an award-winning promotional video to help land the Olympic Games for London.

The government is dumping £39m in to the project, which will target 17 cities around the world, including Los Angeles, Tokyo, Beijing, New Delhi, and Sydney.
The 'GREAT Britain' campaign also hopes Britain will benefit from the Diamond Jubilee, celebrating Queen Elizabeth's 60-year reign.
